Zephaniah 3:9-20

630 B.C.- Zephaniah means “hidden of the Lord”

Zeph Ch. 1- The Day of the Lord- How to Find an Escape

Zeph Ch. 2- Yahweh Judge of all the Earth

Zeph 3:5 – “He brings justice to light.”

PARADISE ONLY FOR GOD’S PEOPLE (Matthew 25)

POINT 1- The God of all the earth will restore His NATIONS

A. God will restore the nations to a pure LANGUAGE

(Contra Genesis 11; Genesis 4:26; Ephesians 2:15)

B. God will bring about a restoration of OFFERINGS

(Zechariah 14:16-21; Ezekiel 40-48)

Going God wants you to know that after judgment comes redemption!

Deeper

POINT 2- The God of all the earth will restore His PEOPLE

A. God’s people will no longer be shamed for any of our SINS

(Isaiah 43:25; Psalm 103:12; Micah 7:19)

“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

B. God’s people will be characterized by HOLY LIVING

(Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 John 3:3)

C. God’s people will have be delivered from judgment and ENEMIES

(Colossians 2:15; Hebrews 2:14; Revelation 20:1-3)

Going God wants us to rejoice and be thankful for His works of Redemption!

POINT 3- The God of all the earth with restore His PRESENCE

A. The presence of the Lord will exhibit God’s great LOVE

(1 John 3:1; John 13:1; 17:23; Romans 5:5)

B. The presence of the Lord will fulfill all promises to ISRAEL

Going God wants you to know that He is a God who cannot lie
