1- To
glorify God in suffering, we need to have a proper ATTITUDE
(Verses 12-14)
A.
To
have a proper attitude, we need not be SURPRISED
B.
To
have a proper attitude, we realize we are blessed and God GLORIFIED
(James 1:2-12; Romans 8:17; Luke 6:22-23; Mat 5:10-12)

2- To
glorify God in suffering, we need to have a proper ASSESSMENT
(Verses 15-18)
A.
We
need to assess whether our suffering is our OWN FAULT
B.
We
need to assess that God is not against us and we have no SHAME
(The entire book of Job as an example; Acts 5:41)
C.
We
assess that God’s cleansing begins with us and then the WICKED
(Luke 12:48; Romans 2:5-9; 2 Thessalonians 1:3-11)

There
is suffering according to the will of God regardless of SOURCE

The
greatest action we can take is to ENTRUST our suffering to Him and His
purposes.
