A. Jesus as a Rabbi LEARNED

C. Jesus as a Rabbi TAUGHT
the Text (Matthew 5:17-18).
D. Jesus as a Rabbi PRAYED
the Text (Matthew 6:9-13).
E. Jesus as a Rabbi DIED
to the Text (Luke 24:26-27; 1 Cor 11:1, 15:31)
Judaism
has four ways to know and understand the text.
1)
Peshat- plain reading; 2) Darash- homiletical; 3) Remez- hint; 4) Sod-mystical
(Kabbalah)

Luke 8:41-48
A. Before the woman could trust
in the Text she had to KNOW IT
(Malachi 4:2; Matthew 9:20, 6:56, 14:36).

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6 (James 4:2)
Jesus is looking for some disciples who will commit
to His actions, teachings, and Text. Will you come? (Matthew 11:28-30)
