“The Love of God- Part 4: For His Glory” 11/12/06

Romans 9:1-29

Difficult Doctrine …How do we reconcile with all of who God is?

Our Approach: 1) God’s love for all (conditional) Through common grace, compassion, warning, and offer of salvation.   2) God’s love for the Elect (unconditional); 3) God’s Love / Pleasure (conditional) and Our Response;

4) God’s Love and His Glory (OF OUR FATHER)

Exodus 34:6-7   READ

“Truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD”  Num 14:21

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”  1 Corinthians 10:31

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GLORIFY GOD?

God is not a slave to any ONE of His attributes, but instead seeks the fullness of His Glory.
