POINT 1- Victorious spiritual warfare understands our ENEMY Vv.10-12
A. Our enemy is strong, but we must stand in the power of GOD.
B. The armor of God protects us from Satan’s SCHEMES (see 2 Cor. 2:11)
C. We must remember that our enemies are not HUMAN
Satan is a powerful Cherub (highest level of Angelic being) and he is perfect in wisdom (Ezek 28:12). He is cunning, a roaring lion always seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
Satan sometimes attacks us physically (Job 2), but uses doubt, despair, discord, discouragement, distraction, disobedience, and deception (Gal. 5:21; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Matthew 7:21-23).
“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” Colossians 2:15 He is DEFEATED with no GUN
