POINT #1 IN THE MIDST OF THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE, GOD’S WISDOM GIVES US HOPE.
1) God’s Wisdom is shown in that He had planned RUTH and BOAZ’s meeting from the beginning.
Noami actually tried to thwart this!
2) God’s Wisdom is demonstrated through the SHREWDNESS of Boaz.
God used Boaz because he was the right guy for the job.
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

POINT #2 IN THE MIDST OF THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE, GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY GIVES US HOPE.
1) God’s Sovereignty is shown in that the He gave Ruth STATUS in Israel.
She went from FOREIGNER to FEMALE SERVANT to MAIDEN to WIFE to MATRIARCH of Israel.
2) God’s Sovereignty is shown in that He gave Boaz a WIFE and HONOR in Bethlehem.
3) God’s Soverignty is shown in that He gave Naomi REDEMPTION and an HEIR.
Romans 8:28 “ALL THINGS…. FOR GOOD… TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD”
There is no attribute more comforting to His children than that of God's sovereignty. Under the most adverse circumstances, in the most severe trials, they believe that sovereignty has ordained their afflictions, that sovereignty overrules them, and that sovereignty will sanctify them all. There is nothing for which the children ought to more earnestly contend to than the doctrine of their Master over all creation--the Kingship of God over all the works of His own hands--the Throne of God and His right to sit upon that throne...for it is God upon the Throne whom we trust. 1) God’s Chesed is shown in that He gave Israel FOOD and a KING after God’s own heart.
2) God’s Chesed was demonstrated by involving HIS PEOPLE.
