| CrossRoads is committed to making
a difference in your life and in the life of our community. We understand
that there are a wide variety of churches out there and that it is sometimes
difficult to know what a church's ideals are. So what are we about? Above
everything else, we believe firmly that God is calling us to an ever-deepening
relationship with Him.
God is calling us to go deeper with Him through: Being fully committed to deepening our personal relationship with Him through the sanctification of His Word (John 17:17). We are consumed with the teaching and application of God's Word. Even though we occasionally have topical messages on Sunday, we are more characterized by verse-by-verse expository preaching on Sunday mornings. All this means is that we are committed to teaching all of God's truth, one verse at a time (Acts 20:27). Being committed to deepening our relationships with those he has brought into our lives and church (John 15:12; John 17:21-23; Ephesians 4:12-13). Encouraging the spiritual growth of our church community by dedicating ourselves to pray, being ready to step out in faith, and working together to glorify God (John 15:5; James 1:6; Philippians 4:19; Ephesians 3:21). Growing the church body deeper in selfless servanthood for Him, His people, His church, and the lost (Philippians 2:1-4; Galatians 6:10; Romans 10:14-17). Fostering a deeper attitude toward sacrificial commitment to the Lord through the giving of the time, talents, and treasure He has entrusted to us (Ephesians 5:16; 1 Peter 4:10; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; Matthew 24:45-46; Matthew 6:21). Celebrating and appreciating God's blessings on us as individuals, families, and as a corporate body (Ephesians 1:3; James 1:17; John 3:27; 1 Thessalonians 5:18).
